55 in 5 Status Update
Pila of Benin
2025 Status Update
“And there is salvation in no one else, for
there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
(Acts 4:12)
Challenges We’ve Faced
The
Pila of rural northern Benin are deeply committed to their traditional African
mystical religion. Idol worship is the norm and expected. Recently, a training
for Bible storying launched in this area. Four believers among the Pila
participated. They learned and recorded 16 Bible stories in their language.
Immersion in God’s Word in their language revitalized their faith. The team
returned to their home villages, where they shared the stories and the full
gospel.
How You Can Pray
·
Praise
the Lord for new Pila believers!
·
Pray
that the bonds of idol worship will be broken.
· Pray that local believers will faithfully share the gospel.
Praise God for His Faithfulness and Protection from
