June 15-21 Praise/Prayer Request

Prayer Praise for the Past Two Weeks

*  Traveling grace as the Herrons traveled to and from the islands, in Jinja and Kampala the last weeks
*  The cooperation of ministry leadership in ministering and growing disciples for Christ
*  Good news concerning court hearing  

*  God protection and provision for us and the island ministry


Pray for the Herrons This Week
Monday June 15th—Sunday June 21st

*  Pray for the Herrons as they minister to the peoples of the Islands of Lake Victoria 
—Our visit to the islands for planning sessions
—Mentoring, encouragement and training of island leadership
—Making arrangements for first Mission Team this year
*  The Bible School this week
—Pray that God provide for the pastors/church leaders tuition and their families during the week of schooling. 
—Pray for these pastors and church leaders as they equip themselves to reaching the lost, discipling new believers and planting indigenous island churches.    


*  Mission team from Greenwood Baptist Church, Thomasville, North Carolina coming 24th June—4th July
—Pray for their planning for this trip
·         Their physical preparation
·         Spiritual, emotional and cultural preparation for their coming to the Islands
·         They are in-tuned to the Holy Spirit guidance and direction  
*  Pray for our continual language learning  
—Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week
—The witness to our Language teacher

Prayer Praise for the Past Weeks

*  Traveling grace as James traveled in the US and as Sonya and Madison traveled in Jinja
—James as he traveled to the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for Jason’s gradation from University of Oklahoma

—James traveled to Illinois

o   O’Fallon (FBC O’Fallon)
o   Springfield (Illinois Baptist State Association)
o   Harrisburg (Dorrisville Baptist Church)
o   Visiting with James Sister in Richmond Heights, Missouri

*  The opportunities to be with son Jason and his family and to see his eight month old grandson, Joshua for the first time
*  Sonya and Madison doing good in Jinja 
*  Bible School attended by sixteen Continual spiritual growth of our pastors and church leaders and the encouragement and commitment to teach what they have learn to their spouse and church family
