Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Two Weeks

We Praise God for:
o   We thank God for safety as we traveled around Jinja during the past two weeks
o   Madison travel to and from school during this time
o   James and Austin on the islands Sunday—Friday 22nd—27th September
·       We thank God for the time spent during 16th—21st September to prepare for training the three Zone Leaders to interpret correctly God’s Word.
·       We thank God for the five-day training we had for our pastors to prepare them in preaching the Baptist Faith and Message.
o   We are thankful for their commitment to growing deeper in the Word of God and being prepared to properly proclaim the Word of God to their congregation and their village/island
o   We praise God for the pastor’s desire to learn and grow in their knowledge of Christ 
·       Leadership Team desire to faithfully serve Christ and the people of the islands
o   Their commitment to reading the Bible as a ministry team to be able to mentor and assist our pastors spend more time in the Word of God
o   Their desire to lead our pastors in preaching the Baptist Faith and Message to better understand with the Bible say and to build a foundation to reaching and teaching the peoples of the islands
o   There desire in teaching and training our pastors and leaders to understanding and applying God’s Word to the lives of the island’s believers
·       We thank God for Sonya’s mother continual recovery for surgery last month.
·       ·       We thank God for His faithfulness, provisions and protection in our lives during the past two weeks
30th September—06th October 2019
·       Pray for our travel in Uganda this week
o   Our travel in and around Jinja during this week
o   Madison’s travel to and from school this week
·       Pray for our preparation for ministering to the pastors of Sigulu Islands next week.
o   Pray for Austin Joseph and me as we are preparing lessons for next week training of pastoral leaders on Sigulu Island next week
o   Pray that we are led by the Holy Spirit as we prepare to teach the leaders of Sigulu Island
o   Pray for our regional Leaders who will be assisting with the teaching next week as they prepare this week   
·       Pray for our families in the USA
o   Pray for Lorenzo Herron and the Herron family in the homegoing of our oldest Sister Mattie Herron on 29th September 2019
o   Our three sons and their families 
§  Continue to pray for our oldest son.
§  Our youngest son, Jeremy and his family, as they return to their home and adjust after having been evaluated from their home for one week
§  Sonya’s mother, Mary, who is making progress I
o   Our five grandchildren
o   The Sutton Family
o   The Dempsey Family
o   Stribling/Herron Family   
o   Our siblings and their families
o   Sonya’s mother as she recuperates from surgery last month
·       Pray for our language teacher that he may come to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior

16-22 September Herron's Prayer Blog

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Three Weeks

We Praise God for:


o   We thank God for safety as we traveled around Jinja during the past week

o   Madison travel to and from school the last week

o   James and Austin on the islands Wednesday—Friday

·       We thank God for the three-day training we had for our pastors to prepare them in preaching the Baptist Faith and Message.

o   We thank god for the eleven pastors who attended the training

o   We are thankful for their commitment to growing deeper in the Word of God and being prepared to properly proclaim the Word of God to their congregation and their village/island

o   We praise God for the pastor’s desire to learn and grow in their knowledge of Christ 

·       Leadership Team desire to faithfully serve Christ and the people of the islands

o   Their commitment to reading the Bible as a ministry team to be able to mentor and assist our pastors spend more time in the Word of God

o   Their desire to lead our pastors in preaching the Baptist Faith and Message to better understand with the Bible say and to build a foundation to reaching and teaching the peoples of the islands

o   There desire in teaching and training our pastors and leaders to understanding and applying God’s Word to the lives of the island’s believers

·       We thank God for Sonya’s mother continual recovery for surgery last month.

·       We praise God for the safety of our youngest son, Jeremy, and his family as they were displaced by the hurricane and return home without any damage to their property.   

·       We thank God for His faithfulness, provisions and protection in our lives during the past week


16th—22th September 2019

·       Pray for our travel in Uganda this week

o   Our travel in and around Jinja during this week

o   Madison’s travel to and from school this week

·       Pray for our plans to work on structuring sermons outline from the Baptist Faith and Message for the island pastors.

o   Pray for Austin and me preparing lessons this week that we will present next week to our Zone Leaders next week

o   Pray that we are led by the Holy Spirit as we teach our leaders

o   Pray that they will be able to transmit what they learn to the pastors and other church leader

·       Pray for our regional Leaders who will be searching for prospective leaders to mentor in each congregation  

·       Pray for our families in the USA

o   Our three sons and their families 

§  Continue to pray for our oldest son.

§  Our youngest son, Jeremy and his family, as they return to their home and adjust after having been evaluated from their home for one week

o   Their commitment to reading the Bible as a ministry team to be able to mentor and assist our pastors spend more time in the Word of God

o   Their desire to lead our pastors in preaching the Baptist Faith and Message to better understand with the Bible say and to build a foundation to reaching and teaching the peoples of the islands

o   James and Austin travel to the islands 11th—13th September 

·       Pray for our plans to work on structuring sermons outline from the Baptist Faith and Message for the island pastors.

o   Meeting with our three Zone Leaders Monday 09th September to discuss and plans for the first set of sermons outlines

o   Our meeting with the pastors this Wednesday—Friday to teach them as we prepare for preaching what we believe as Baptists

o   Pray for Austin and me preparing the lessons we will present week this next

o   Pray that we are led by the Holy Spirit as we teach our leaders

o   Pray that they will be able to transmit what they learn to the pastors and other church leader
