Praise and Prayer Request for the Week of 22nd-28th May
Your Help Comes From Where!
I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?  My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.  He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. (Psalm 121: 1-3)

Are you in need of help?  Where do you go for help?  Are there neighbors, good friends, family members you trust in times of needs?  Do you relay on your abilities, strength, financial capabilities or personal skills?  When the Psalmist lifted up his eyes and ask “where will my help come from? He answered, “My help come from the Lord.” His help did not come from other people.  It did not come from his ability; it did not come his procession nor from the hills.  He answered, “My help comes from the Lord.”  His help and our help should come from the Lord, the maker of the hills.  The God who created our family members, neighbors and friends, our abilities, strength and finances.  Our God is and a mighty creator over all the difficulties in life, and He never sleep nor slumber.  We can trust and completely depend on Him in the time of need. Other resource may fail us.  They may not be able or they may reject our plea for help 10Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

Praise and Prayer Request for the Week of 15th-21st May
Give Thanks for Everything!
Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Are you able to give thanks in the middle of the storm?  When difficulties arise, do you view them as opportunities of spiritual growth?  If not there are room for spiritual growth.  We can look at adversities as the weights and pullies which results in strong spiritual muscles.  Seek areas where you can leave your cares into the capable hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus.  We can trust him to direct our lives.  There is no need to push our selfish addenda, but trust the One who paid the price of our eternal salvation for all things. 6”Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your care on Him, because He cares about you”. (1 Peter 5:6-7)

Where is Your Security?

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

(Isaiah 26:3)

Where do you find your security?  In the government?  Your family? Your own strength and abilities?  Or other material temporal things?  The best method of finding security in this world is to focus on Christ.  Our continual connection on HIM will keep us at peace.  The Holy Spirit that dwell within us will help us sort out the important things and empower us to accomplish them.  Keep your eyes upon Jesus. “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.  (2 Corinthians 4:18)
