Dear Prayer Partners:  It has been several weeks since the last Prayer Blog.  Much has happen since the last Blog.  Sonya’s father, Thetis Sutton passed away 20^th September as she was traveling to California to be at his side.  Sonya return to Uganda on 30^th September, and we had to travel to Kenya later that day for an annual meeting.  We return home 7^th October.  Madison started a new school and we continue to minister to the Peoples of the Islands of Lake Victoria.  There has been many changes in our lives in a short period of time, but God has been faithful to provide us strength, knowledge, courage and wisdom in our time of need.    

Praise and Prayer Request for the Week 17^th—23^rd October      

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past three Weeks

• Praise God for traveling grace for the Herrons as they travel to last few weeks: 
• Sonya’s travel from Uganda to California, 18^th-30^th September 
• The family travel to and from Brackenhurst Conference Center, Kenya 30^th September-7^th October 
• Our travel around Jinja Town, Kyinda Landing Site, and the islands.
• We praise God for the newest churches:  Serinya Baptist Church, a church restart, and Kiruguma Baptist Church Bwema Island 
• Praise God for our meeting this past week to discuss having Bible School on the island in early 2017 
• The meeting with our Pastors and Churches Elders attended by all our pastors and Elders  
• The enthusiasm of our Pastors and Church Leaders to involve their congregation with the Bible School
• We thank God for the thirty plus people who made decisions for Christ during the Crusade at Kiruguma Church 28^th-30^th September 
• The efforts of our pastors and church leaders to disciple new believers 
• We thank the Lord caring for our family in Uganda and America
• Our improvement in language learning Luganda  

Pray for the Herrons This Week

17^th—23^rd October

• Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison 
• Pray that we will soon receive information concerning her immigration hearing 
• Our need to travel to the US for this hearing
• Pray for our family in the USA 
• Our three sons and their families  
• Our five grandchildren 
• The Sutton Family 
• Our siblings and their families
• Pray for our us as we provide follow-up work in assisting our pastors/church leaders start new Bible Study Groups in their churches and also in their homes of members  
• The Ugandan Children/Youth Ministry members who were trained to begin to applying what they learn in their respective village/islands and we see new Bible groups develop 
• Pray that the training results in new Bible Study Groups in the near future
• Our commitment to language learning 
• Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week 
• Our witness to our Language teacher
