for the Week 08th—14th August
Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Week 01st—07th
August
(We Praise God For)
- Praise God for traveling grace for the Herrons as they travel to Kyinda and around Jinja Town during the past week
- We praise God for the enthusiasm generated as a result of the teaching done to prepare our Ugandan friends to disciple and nature our island teachers
- How the Lord is caring for our family in America
- We praise Him for our children and their families
- Our parents and siblings and relatives
- We thank God for the completed work done on our boat which will be launched this week
- The desires and arrangements for our church leaders developed to assist church evangelize their village/island
- The continual spiritual growth we have seen among our island ministry team
- Our slowly improvement in language learning
Pray for the Herrons
This Week
08th—14th August
- Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison
- Pray for our family in the USA
- Our three sons and their families
- Our five grandchildren
- Our parents
- Our siblings and their families
- Our planned visit to the islands Wednesday—Saturday
- Meeting with Pastors and church leaders to assist them in planning new Bible Studies Groups
- Traveling to the landing site and traveling on the waters about eight hours
- The departing of one of our pastor as he and his family return to Kenya
- The new interim pastor at Kiko Church
- Our pastors and Church leaders efforts to reaching our churches villages/islands with the Gospel through evangelism, Gospel crusades and new Bible classes to start next week
- Pray for the follow-up work in assisting our pastors/church leaders start new Bible Study Groups in their churches and also in their homes of members
- The Ugandan Children/Youth Ministry members who were trained to begin to applying what they learn in their respective village/islands
- Pray that the training results in new Bible Study Groups in the near future
- James preparing to teach Old Testament Survey at Uganda Baptist Seminary in September
- Our commitment to language learning
- Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda
- Our witness to our Language Teacher
