Bozo Tiemaxo of Mali

2025 Status Update

“The whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem were going out to him, and they were baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.” (Mark 1:5 CSB)

Challenges We’ve Faced

Fishing spiritually among the Bozo Tiemaxo is like pushing a canoe through a weedy creek. The work appears to be hard and slow with nothing to show for the effort except a small trail behind. However, in the last couple of years we’ve seen evidence of the Spirit at work. One woman submitted her life to “the man in white” (Jesus) after having dreams about him for many years. And a man who had been in contact with believers for over a decade also submitted to the Lord. Another is not far behind.

How You Can Pray

·       Pray for the new believers to courageously share with others.

·       Pray for Bible translators whose hearts are burdened for their people. Ask God to keep joy before them to complete the task.

·      Ask God to break down strongholds that prevent the Bozo from believing the truth (2 Cor 10:3–5).

Praise God for His Faithfulness and Protection from

Antefasy of Madagascar

2025 Status Update

“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.’” (John 8:12 NIV)

Challenges We’ve Faced

Though the Antefasy call themselves Christians, many believe their ancestors are the intermediaries between them and God, and they seek help from witch doctors. In their works-based belief system, Christianity is a backup plan to get to heaven. They believe the requirement to be a Christian is to attend church on Sundays. Very few churches faithfully teach the gospel.

How You Can Pray

·       Pray for the few Antefasy believers who are making disciples and working to start healthy churches.

·       Ask God to reveal his true Word to the Antefasy.

  • Pray for new believers to boldly turn away from ancestor worship

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past two Weeks

      • James is preparing for a mission team from Alabama this week, traveling to the islands to deliver supplies for the team.
  • Thank God for the preparation made for the Alabama mission team made by Pastor Odonga and his ministry team.  outreach on Sigulu Island this past weekend and the reaching of many souls by the ministry team.
  • We praise God for the volunteers who have been practicing their Personal Testimonies and the Roman’s Road preparing to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ during the tools and seed distribution 02nd and 03rd May.
  • We praise God for the total of 102 people who made decisions to follow Christ during the Tools and Seeds Distribution 02nd and 03rd May.
  • We praise God for completion of our new boat to be used for traveling in the Sigulu Island District,
