Uganda East Africa
Island Ministry team (Upper Buvuma Islands)
The vision of the International
Mission Board is to see a multitude from every language, people, tribe and
nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ
Three Consequences of The
Empty Tomb
1. The empty tomb of Jesus
Christ demonstrated that God keeps His promise.
After the fall of man in Genesis 3, God, in His great love for mankind
promised to send one who would redeem man from the kingdom of darkness, death
and destruction. Genesis 3:15. From Genesis 3 until the restriction of Christ,
God was keeping His promise to redeem man to Himself.
2. The empty tomb of
Christ also gives us Hope:
a. Of new life—We can now
have new life in Christ. Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism
into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory
of the Father, so we too may walk in a new way of life. (Romans 6:4)
b. We are a new creation—Therefore,
if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and
look, new things have come. (II Corinthian 5:7 HCSB)
c. Of a New Position—We
are now in the Body of Christ body. Don’t you know that your bodies are a part
of Christ’s body? (I Corinthian 6:15a HCSB)
d. Of a New Home—Jesus
promise He is preparing a home for the believer. 2 In My
Father’s house are many dwelling places; if not, I would have told you. I am
going away to prepare a place for you. 3 If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come
back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.” (John
14:2-3 HCSB)
3. The Empty Tomb of Jesus
Christ give us a new righteousness life which come from Christ. now when God look at us He does not see the many
sins we have committed but the righteousness of the Son of God Jesus. 20 and I
no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live
by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatian 2:20 HCSB)
