Prayer Requests and Praise for the Week of
10th July-13th August
Since
May 18th-July 24th we have:
1. Sponsored two mission
teams
a. 24th May—1st
June Gardendale FBC
i.
Two different Islands and villages
ii.
Conducted Farming God’s Way to 109 farmers
iii.
Provided medical kits to 120 ladies
iv.
275 persons received individual, and group gospel presentations
v.
Thirty-seven (37) decisions for Christ
vi.
Traveled approximate 27 hours on the lake during the month
b. July 14th-21st
O’Fallon FBC, O’Fallon, Illinois
i.
Five Clinics in five different villages on four different
islands
ii.
1,024 Patients seen during these clinics
iii.
24 patents with tooth extractions
iv.
124 patients received reading glasses
v.
Over 2,100 heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached/were
witnessed to individually or in small groups
vi.
204 decisions made to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior
vii.
Traveled approximate 15 hours on the lake during the team visit
2. Two weeks Island Bible
School:
a. 5th-9th
June
b. 3rd-7th
July
3. From 14th
June-01 July the family was in T4T Church Planting training at Brackenhurst
Conference Center in Kenya
These have been busy days for the Herrons. In all this God has proven to be faithful and
able to greatly abundantly provide.

For traveling grace
for the Herrons as they traveled these past weeks:
o
As we traveled to
Entebbe twice in July
o
And as we traveled to
the island spending more than 30 hours on Lake Victoria
o
James travel to
Uganda traveling more than 400 miles, and having to drive three hours in the
dark
·
We thank God for the
medical mission team from O’Fallon FBC, O’Fallon, Illinois from 14th-24th
July the five clinic on four islands:
o
The 1020 patients
treated for various medical conditions
o
The 32 persons who
received dental treatment
o
The 120 who received
reading glasses
o
The 2000+ who heard
the gospel of Christ preached
o
The 204 persons who
accepted Christ al Lord and Savior
·
We thank God for our
team members as we sort out how we will apply this training to the Peoples of
the Islands of Lake Victoria
·
We thank God for the
Ugandan church leaders who are working with alongside with us in reaching the
islands with the Word of God
·
We praise the Lord
for proving and caring for our family in Uganda and America
·
We praise god for our
continual improvement in learning Luganda

This Week
07th -13th
August
·
Continue to pray for
our efforts to secure US VISA for Madison
o
We have made a
request for a hearing in early August and late November and has not received
information concerning the date of the hearing—We are expecting the date of the
hearing will be in early or mid-November
o
Pray that we soon
receive information from the U.S. Immigration
·
Pray for the discipling
process of the four-hundred two (204) new believers who received Jesus during our
last mission Team visits to the islands
·
Pray for our efforts
to provide follow-up work in assisting our pastors/church leaders start new
Bible Study Groups in their churches and in their homes of members
·
Pray for the august
Island Bible School this week (7th-11th)
o
Pray for the Pastors
and Church Leader as they learn the Bible this week
o
Pray for the God’s
provision, protection and presence with the family of the students as they will
be away for this week
o
Pray that the
student will be able to put into practice the biblical lesson they learn this
week
o
Pray that our
Pastors and Church Leaders will keep they focus on Christ

Pray for us as we attempt
to apply what we have learned during the two-week Church Planting Training sessions
o
The T4T Training we have
received
o
Pray that we can
apply what we learn which will result in a Church Planting Movements among the
peoples of the islands
·
Pray our efforts to
apply what we have learn to a church planting movement on the islands
o
We pray for
spiritual guidance in how to effective apply the teaching we have received to
established church and start new groups which will develop into churches
·
Pray for our family
in the USA

their families
