2025 Status Update
“Consequently, he is able to save to the
uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make
intercession for them.” (Hebrews 7:25)
In 2024, four Bangobango believers
completed Bible school and learned translation skills. A pastor who oversees
Bible storying and translation said, “It’s hard to explain, but the openness to
the gospel among the Bangobango is different than in the neighboring tribes.
They listen attentively and respond to the message with understanding and
commitment.” When he heard about the prayer emphasis of the 55-in-5 initiative,
he said, “That makes sense, then! We need to pray for the other tribes, too!”
