Pray for the Banda of Chad
The
Banda of Chad are an unengaged, unreached people group numbering 111,000. The
IMB is not aware of anyone proclaiming the gospel among the Banda. No Bible
translations are available in their language, called West Central Banda, and
there are no gospel recordings, radio broadcasts or “JESUS” film. The Banda
practice ethnic religion, which means it is closely tied to their unique
culture.
Prayer
Requests
- Ask the Father to raise up Christian witnesses to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Banda of Chad.
- Pray that the Word of God would become available in the language of the Banda people.
- Pray that as the Banda hear the Word of God their hearts would be receptive, and that they would turn from their sins and place their faith in Christ.
