What about Coronavirus?
There is much talk and discussion about the Coronavirus epidemic we are
facing in the world. For all our
discussion on this matter, what really matter is what God is saying. What is our voice, thought, study and understanding? Just grass, “The grass withers, and the
flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever” (1 Peter 1:24–25). God word cannot be broken, it endures forever
and the one to obey His word is wise. God was not taken by surprise when this virus entered the course of human history. Nature, Satan and sinful man are not sovereign and does not have control. There is a divine purpose for all God does. There are no mistake, nothing just happens, 11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will…” (Ephesians 1:11). All that God allow is wise and purposeful for the believer. For others it is a merciful wake-up call to repentance. This is a time when the world is looking for answer, not just the cure of this pandemic virus, but the purpose and meaning of our existence. We point them to Jesus

We Praise God for:
- Traveling grace for the Herrons during the past week:

We thank God for
safety as we traveled around Jinja in the surrounding area during the past week
- We thank God for good health and being together during this time of “Shelter in Place” we are adjusting to having everyone at homme and limiting our exposure to the outside the compound world.
- We thank God for Madison’s adjustment be being homeschool until school resume in the future.
- Our being able to adjust to being home and ministering using the internet and phone.

- Pray for us as we are to self-isolate as commanded by our leadership for the next month

Pray for us as we are
confined to our compound during this time.

Pray that we redeem the
time and spend time getting closer to one another and Christ during this time.
- Pray for Austin and his roommate during this time of self-isolation
- Pray for our Pastors and Church leaders on the islands as they minister to the people on the island during this time
- Pray for Gardendale FBC Uganda Mission 2020 team who were unable to travel to Uganda for their 15th-20th Mission Trip because of the Coronavirus

Pray for their
desire to minister to the peoples of the island because of the economic effect
of the Coronavirus.

Our three sons and
their families

Continue to pray for
our oldest son Keith, that we will allow God to direct his life.

his family as they adjust to the aftermath of the Coronavirus outbreak
