Praise and Prayer Request
for the Week 14th—20th November
Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Weeks
(We Praise God For)
- For traveling grace for the Herrons as they travel last week:
- Around Jinja Town, Kyinda Landing Site Tuesday and Thursday
- Kyanja and Bwema Island Thursday-Friday
- Kyanja Church as they work on constructing a facility for their church
- Good meeting with the Sponsor of this work Saturday
- Thank God for the congregation to contribute to the work with their labor
- The continual planning of a Bible School sponsored through Uganda Baptist Seminary in February 2017
- We praise God for the enthusiasm of our Pastors and Church Leaders to involve their congregation with the Bible School
- The desires of our Pastors and Church Elders to learn and teach the Word of God
- We thank God for our work with missionary doctor Global Outreach and our involvement in ministering to two clinics last week
- We praise God for the 20 persons who confessed Christ at Kibibi Island
- And the 10 who accepted Christ at Malijja Bwanika
- The many children who received immunizations during these clinics
- We thank God for our Ugandan leaders we have working with us in reaching then islands with the Word of God
- We praise God for the three days of Discipleship Training on Stewardship where 110 persons were from six islands representing twelve churches
- We praise he Lord for caring for our family in Uganda and America
- Our continual improvement in language learning Luganda
Pray for the Herrons
This Week
14st—20th
November
- Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison (They are now processing applications from September 2015)
- Pray that we will soon receive information concerning her immigration hearing
- Our need to travel to the US for this hearing
- Pray for three days Crusade at Lwaazi Baptist Church Wednesday-Friday
- Traveling grace for the churches that will attend the crusade
- The witnessing efforts of people who attend the crusade
- Many will come to receive Christ and are properly disciple
- The results will be spiritually stronger believers
- Pray for disaster relief effort in Pallissa District because of drought and crop failure
- Pray as we organize relief efforts
- Pray for Eastern Uganda as we are suffering for a one year drought
- Pray there are many opportunities to share the Gospel and many will come to Christ as a result of our assistance
- Pray for our family in the USA
- Our three sons and their families
- Our five grandchildren
- The Sutton Family
- Our siblings and their families
- Pray for our continual efforts to provide follow-up work in assisting our pastors/church leaders start new Bible Study Groups in their churches and also in their homes of members
- The Ugandan Children/Youth Ministry members who were trained to begin to applying what they learn in their respective village/islands and we see new Bible groups develop
- Pray that the training results in new Bible Study Groups in the near future
- The discipleship of the 50 new Christians who received Christ over the weekend
- Our commitment to language learning
- Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week
- Our witness to our Language teacher
