Praise and Prayer Request for the Week 25^th—31^st July     

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Week 18^th—24^th July

(We Praise God For)

• Praise God for traveling grace as the Herrons and mission team from O’Fallon, Illinois traveled to the islands and around Jinja Town during the past week
• The mission team from Illinois, O’Fallon First Baptist Church 14^th—27^th July
• Their work in teaching 22 islands children and teen teachers and two pastors the past week 
• Their good health while during their stay at the Herron compound 
• The team’s adjustment to Uganda 
• The Ugandans who were on the compound with the Herrons and the OFBC Mission Team
• The training and ministry activities conducted by the mission team 
• The learning experience the participants received and the real experience they received as they applied the classroom knowledge in the community 
• The desire of our churches to assist each other evangelize their village/island 
• The spiritual growth we have seen among our island ministry team 
• Our continue development and improvement in language learning  
• The blessing of having volunteers from our home church, O’Fallon First Baptist Church, O’Fallon, Illinois   

Pray for the Herrons This Week

25^th—31^st July

• Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison 
• Pray for the follow-up work we have to do in assisting our pastors/church leaders in starting new Bible Study Groups in their churches and also in their homes  
• The Ugandan Children/Youth Ministry members who were trained last week, that they will begin to apply what they learn in their respective village/islands 
• Pray that the training results in new Bible Study Groups in the near future
• Our Pastoral leaders desire to reach all our churches with the Gospel through evangelism and crusades 
• Our commitment to language learning 
• Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week 
• Our witness to our Language teacher

Praise and Prayer Request for the Week 18^th—24^th July  

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Week 11^th—17^th July

(We Praise God For)

• Praise God for traveling grace as the Herrons traveled to Entebbe, Kampala, and around Jinja Town during the past week 
• The mission team from Illinois, O’Fallon First Baptist Church 14^th—27^th July 
• Safe travel from America to Uganda 
• Their safe travel from the airport in Entebbe to Jinja  
• The team’s adjustment to Uganda
• Our continual work of mentoring and developing Upper Buvuma Island Baptist Ministry leaders 
• The continue spiritual growth we are seeing in our island ministry team
• Our continue development and improvement in language learning  
• Blessing of a computer for our ministry in serving the peoples of the islands of Lake Victoria  

Pray for the Herrons This Week

18^th—24^th July

• Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison 
• Pray for the work we have to do in sponsoring our next mission team from our home      church, O’Fallon First Baptist Church, O’Fallon, 14^th—27^th July 
• The Children/Youth Ministry Training the team will do in training Children and Youth Ministers from our islands churches 
• Securing supplies for the team and Ugandan workers
• Complete care and cleaning of the tents the teams will use during their stay here
• Pray for many opportunities to further share the Gospel of Christ as a results of the training and inspiration from the mission team from O’Fallon FBC
• Pray for the participants to learn, be able to teach the Bible effectively and correctly in their own churches, and be able to teach other churches how to prepare and teach Bible lessons also be equip to teach other congregations.

• Pray for our continual language learning  
• Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week 
• Our witness to our Language teacher

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Two Weeks 20^th June—10^th July

(We Praise God For)

  Praise God for traveling grace as the Herrons traveled to Entebbe, Kampala, the islands and around Jinja Town during the past two weeks

  The mission team from Texas, New Song Church, 27^th June—6^th July

  Safe travel to and while in Uganda

  Their safe travel to the islands

  Having no injuries or illness while in Uganda

  The team safe return to their homes

  The Discipleship Training for Pastors and Church Leaders

  VBS/Children Ministry Training and Application

  Evangelism and discipleship conducted on two islands

  The 47 persons who accepted Christ on three islands and on the mainland   

  Our continual work of mentoring and developing Upper Buvuma Island Baptist Ministry leaders

11^th—17^th July 

  Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison

  Pray for the work we have to do in preparation for our next mission team 14^th—27^th July

  The Children/Youth Ministry Training the team will do in training Children and Youth Ministers from our islands churches

  Securing supplies for the team and Ugandan workers

  Complete care and cleaning of the tents the teams will use during their stay here

  Securing needed material/tools to set up a big tent we will use as a gathering place

  Pray for many opportunities to further share the Gospel of Christ as a results of the training and inspiration from the mission team from O’Fallon FBC

  Pray for the peoples of the islands who had the opportunity to hear the Gospel and made decision for Christ

  Pray for our continual language learning  

  Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week
