The vision of the International
Mission Board is to see a multitude from every language, people, tribe and
nation knowing and worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ
This has been a good week for
staying inside, the raining season has begun.
It has rained every day for the past week. With the rain comes mud, and lots of it. Some of our major roads become long winding
mud trails, and if you are not careful you will find yourself stuck in the
mud. The mud invade your home and no matter
how hard you try, you cannot clean it all away.
Now we miss the hot dusty dry season.
The weather change, our attitude
toward the weather also changes as the weather change. Of all the many different changes that come
to our lives one thing remains the same, Christ’s love for us.
“…for
He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. 6Therefore, we may boldly say:
The
Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? Hebrews 13:5b—5 HCSB)
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me? Hebrews 13:5b—5 HCSB)
8Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 18:8 HCSB).
And because Jesus remains the
same we can triumph fully proclaim to the world:
35Who can separate us from the love of Christ?
Can affliction or anguish or persecution
or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
36 As it is written:
Because of You
we are being put to death all day long;
we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.
37 No, in all these things we are more than victorious
through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that not even death or life,
angels or rulers,
things present or things to come, hostile powers,
39 height or depth, or any other created thing
will have the power to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord! (Romans 8:35—39 HCSB)
