Praise and Prayer Request for the Week 01^st—06^th November       

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past Weeks 

(We Praise God For)

• For traveling grace for the Herrons as they travel last week: 
• Around Jinja Town, Kyinda Landing Site, and the islands 
• Kyanja Church as they will host a nine moth Bible School for the Pastors and Church Elders of Upper Buvuma Islands Baptist Ministry starting in early 2017 
• The enthusiasm of our Pastors and Church Leaders to involve their congregation with the Bible School 
• The positive meeting conducted last Tuesday which will result in a great blessing for Kyanja Church
• We thank God for the crusade conducted on Wakikere Baptist Church, Bugaya Island which resulted in 50 professions of faith and the planting of a new congregation 
• We thank God for our Ugandan leaders we have working with us in reaching then islands with the Word of God 
• We praise the Lord caring for our family in Uganda and America
• Our continual improvement in language learning Luganda  

Pray for the Herrons This Week

01^st—06^th November  

• Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison (They are now processing applications from September 2015) 
• Pray that we will soon receive information concerning her immigration hearing 
• Our need to travel to the US for this hearing 
• Pray for our family in the USA
• Our three sons and their families  
• Our five grandchildren 
• The Sutton Family 
• Our siblings and their families
• Pray for our us as we provide follow-up work in assisting our pastors/church leaders start new Bible Study Groups in their churches and also in their homes of members  
• The Ugandan Children/Youth Ministry members who were trained to begin to applying what they learn in their respective village/islands and we see new Bible groups develop 
• Pray that the training results in new Bible Study Groups in the near future 
• The discipleship of the 50 new Christians who received Christ over the weekend
• Our commitment to language learning 
• Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week 
• Our witness to our Language teacher

Praise and Prayer Request for the Week 24^th—31^st October      

(We Praise God For)  

• Praise God for traveling grace for the Herrons as they travel this last week: 
• Our travel around Jinja Town, Kyinda Landing Site, and the islands during the past week.
• Praise God for the excitement from our churches to having Bible School on the island in early 2017 
• The enthusiasm of our Pastors and Church Leaders to involve their congregation with the Bible School
• We thank God for the Ugandan leaders we have working with us in reaching then islands with the Word of God 
• We praise the Lord caring for our family in Uganda and America
• Our continual improvement in language learning Luganda  

Pray for the Herrons This Week

24^th—31^st October

• Our continual efforts to secure US VISA for Madison 
• Pray that we will soon receive information concerning her immigration hearing 
• Our need to travel to the US for this hearing
• Pray for our family in the USA 
• Our three sons and their families  
• Our five grandchildren 
• The Sutton Family 
• Our siblings and their families
• Pray for our us as we provide follow-up work in assisting our pastors/church leaders start new Bible Study Groups in their churches and also in their homes of members  
• The Ugandan Children/Youth Ministry members who were trained to begin to applying what they learn in their respective village/islands and we see new Bible groups develop 
• Pray that the training results in new Bible Study Groups in the near future
• Pray for a meetings we will have on Tuesday concerning Kyanji Baptist Church 
• Pray for our association monthly Crusade scheduled Wednesday—Friday
• Pray for the gospel to be presented clearly and correctly 
• Pray for those who receive Christ as Lord and Savior are disciple immediately 
• God would single out those He will to be leaders, teachers and church planters and all will be disciple makers 
• Pray for safety on the water  
• Our commitment to language learning 
• Our commitment to sharing Christ in Luganda this week 
• Our witness to our Language teacher

Dear Prayer Partners:  It has been several weeks since the last Prayer Blog.  Much has happen since the last Blog.  Sonya’s father, Thetis Sutton passed away 20^th September as she was traveling to California to be at his side.  Sonya return to Uganda on 30^th September, and we had to travel to Kenya later that day for an annual meeting.  We return home 7^th October.  Madison started a new school and we continue to minister to the Peoples of the Islands of Lake Victoria.  There has been many changes in our lives in a short period of time, but God has been faithful to provide us strength, knowledge, courage and wisdom in our time of need.    

Praise and Prayer Request for the Week 17^th—23^rd October      

Thank the Lord with the Herrons for the Past three Weeks   

(We Praise God For)

• Praise God for traveling grace for the Herrons as they travel to last few weeks: 
• Sonya’s travel from Uganda to California, 18^th-30^th September 
• The family travel to and from Brackenhurst Conference Center, Kenya 30^th September-7^th October 
• Our travel around Jinja Town, Kyinda Landing Site, and the islands.
• We praise God for the newest churches:  Serinya Baptist Church, a church restart, and Kiruguma Baptist Church Bwema Island 
• Praise God for our meeting this past week to discuss having Bible School on the island in early 2017 
• The meeting with our Pastors and Churches Elders attended by all our pastors and Elders  
• The enthusiasm of our Pastors and Church Leaders to involve their congregation with the Bible School
• We thank God for the thirty plus people who made decisions for Christ during the Crusade at Kiruguma Church 28^th-30^th September 
• The efforts of our pastors and church leaders to disciple new believers 
• We thank the Lord caring for our family in Uganda and America
• Our improvement in language learning Luganda
